With ProhostAI, compatible connected smart locks can automatically generate time-limited door codes for team members assigned to tasks and cleanings. 🔑 The code appears directly on the job in ProhostAI, so your team knows where to find it.

Here's how it works:

🏡 Assign the work: Schedule a task or cleaning and assign a workspace team member.

🔐 Automatic code generation: ProhostAI generates a door code on the connected smart lock and displays it on the assigned task or cleaning.

⏰ Access at the right time: Codes are scheduled around the job, with a 60-minute buffer before and after the scheduled time.

🔄 Plans change? Rescheduling updates the access window. Completing or cancelling a job, or removing an assignment, can revoke access as applicable.

📱 Easy access: Team members can find their codes on the task or cleaning in ProhostAI, or in Settings → My door codes.

⚙️ How to get started:

1️⃣ Go to Smart Devices → Devices and connect a compatible smart lock.

2️⃣ Assign the lock to the correct property listing.

3️⃣ Schedule a task or cleaning and assign a workspace team member.

That's it! There's no separate feature toggle to enable. Once the lock and listing are correctly connected and the job is scheduled, ProhostAI handles the code generation automatically.

💡 A few things to know:

Tasks need a due date or scheduled time before a code can be issued.

For jobs scheduled more than seven days ahead, codes are issued once the job is within seven days.

External vendors using a team connection don't receive automatic codes. Admins can use the job's Share link with code option instead.
