To access certain features (e.g., claiming a profile, submitting reviews), you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.

4. Profile Claims

Users may claim profiles listed in our People directory by verifying their identity through LinkedIn OAuth or email verification. By claiming a profile, you represent that you are the person whose profile you are claiming, or that you have authorization to manage that profile. We reserve the right to revoke claims that are found to be fraudulent or unauthorized.

5. User Content

By submitting content (including profile information, reviews, event submissions, or association listings), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content on the Service. You retain ownership of your content and may update or remove it at any time through your account.

You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or infringes on third-party rights.

6. Vendor Directory & Affiliate Links

Our directory may contain affiliate links. If you purchase through these links, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial content or reviews. Vendor listings and rankings are based on objective criteria and community feedback.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and functionality of the Service (excluding user-submitted content) are owned by STR Tech Report and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Impersonate another person or claim a profile that is not yours
Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service without permission
Interfere with the security or operation of the Service
Submit false, misleading, or spam content

9. Disclaimer of Warranties
